As a Graphic Design Apprentice with the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, I worked alongside the Museum Design Studio to create public-facing design across print, digital, and environmental media.
My primary project was De Youngsters Day Out, FAMSF’s free annual children’s day at the de Young Museum. Working closely with Museum Graphic Designer Luke Sorrenson, who developed the original visual system, I adapted and expanded the identity across posters, flyers, wayfinding, T-shirts, bookmarks, buttons, and digital assets.
The project challenged me to extend an existing visual language across different formats, scales, and environments, balancing playfulness, accessibility, and clarity. The resulting campaign transformed the identity into a cohesive visual experience throughout the museum, welcoming more than 10,000 visitors to the event.
